Product Description

Oil on Board.

Geoff Uglow, born in 1978 in Cornwall, is a distinguished British painter. He studied at Falmouth and graduated from the Glasgow School of Art in 2000. In 2002, he became a Rome Scholar, spending four years in Italy before returning to his studio on the Cornish coast. Uglow won the Alastair Salvesen Art Scholarship in 2009, which led to an acclaimed exhibition at the Royal Scottish Academy.

Uglow's work is deeply inspired by nature, capturing fleeting moments of beauty through a dynamic and visceral use of colour and light. His notable projects include the Quercus series, documenting the rhythms of the British landscape, and paintings from his own rose garden. His works are part of public and private collections worldwide.
